Check a statement
Paste a statement or a whole evaluation. Brevet checks each part against its section's rules — the count, the acronyms and the format — before your supervisor sees it.
One statement, or a whole evaluation with its section labels.

What it checks
The same checks as the writer, from the same rules: 350 characters for each EPB and OPB statement block, 250 for the OPB's higher level reviewer assessment, and 450 for its duty description, spaces included; your award cycle's line budget on a 1206. Then a clear action and a measurable result, AFPC-approved acronyms, past tense with no weak openers, and no bullets, bold or ALL CAPS.
The count is taken on the text as it will paste: curly quotes, dashes and extra spaces are made plain first. How the count works.
Checking a whole evaluation
Paste it with its section labels — EXECUTING THE MISSION, LEADING PEOPLE and so on — and Brevet splits it there and checks each part against that section's rules. Labels can be in capitals or not, end in a colon, or sit on the same line as their text. If Brevet finds no labels, choose a section for each part.
Copy for the form puts every section back in the form's order, each under its label, ready to paste all at once; each part's Copy button copies one box. Refine opens a part in the editor, where Shrink, Strengthen and Simplify work on it.
