Terms of Service

The plain-language agreement for using Brevet, a free tool from Vogue Sq LLC. By using Brevet, you agree to these terms.

The short version

  • Brevet is a free tool that helps you draft EPB performance statements.
  • It's an aid, not an authority — review and verify everything before you use it.
  • Don't enter classified material, CUI, or sensitive personal information.
  • It's provided “as is,” and it's independent of the DoD.

Independent tool. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, or Department of Defense.

Brevet is a product of Vogue Sq LLC.

What Brevet does

Brevet helps turn rough notes into EPB performance statements and checks them against real constraints — the 350-character cap, the action + impact structure, and the AFPC-approved acronym policy. Its guidance reflects AFI 36-2406 (22 Aug 2025) and myEval's limits, but policy changes. Brevet is an aid, not an authority — always confirm against the current instruction and your rater's guidance.

Acceptable use

  • Use Brevet lawfully and for its intended purpose.
  • Do not enter classified material, CUI, or another person's personal information.
  • Don't attempt to overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise abuse the service.

AI-generated content

Statements are produced with AI and may be inaccurate, generic, or non-compliant. Review and edit every statement before you use it. You are responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness, and compliance of anything you submit to myEval or elsewhere. Your inputs remain yours, and you are responsible for the statements you choose to use.

No warranty

Brevet is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that generated statements are accurate or compliant, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vogue Sq LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any evaluation outcome, arising from your use of Brevet. Brevet is a free tool offered to assist your own work; the judgment and the final statement are yours.

Changes to the service and these terms

Brevet is free and in active development. We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features (some features may later become paid). We may also update these terms; if we make material changes we'll revise the date above, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.

Intellectual property

The Brevet name, brand, and software are owned by Vogue Sq LLC. The notes you enter and the statements you finalize are yours.

Privacy

How Brevet handles your data — including that your drafts stay on your device — is covered in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Vogue Sq LLC is organized in Washington, D.C., and any dispute will be handled in the courts located there.
